Had what I hope will be my last exam (for a while) on Tuesday and so now I am trying to get some rest, work on my resume and make some plans for the future. The semester was a busy one plenty driving, presentations and group meetings. I am still looking into internships and no better time than now to do that. I have an interview on Monday and so I have to do some prep for that. Life is challenging but at the same time it has also been interesting. By the way if anyone out there can make suggestions about how to store my books (that I will probably need in the future and my papers) I am open for suggestions. I would like to box them away soon(: They are making for untidy living (maybe a book shelf is a solution). Nothing new on the hair front. It has been very dry in Ja and we are now having water restrictions, so maybe it will rain soon(:

Second wash with no braiding & banding and my Brunsli tie (: As you can see the colour is fast disappearing oh well but I am happy with my locks, my hair just wants to coil on itself tho its almost like it needs to be streched everythime I was but that will only happen when I don't wash myself. You know I do not like my hair over manipulated(: But I think these pics show where I am at and whats going on with my locks at the mo.

1) Which 3 things should everybody do when visiting Jamaica for the first time and why?

• Rafting it is tranquill and gives diversity to experiencing Jamaica
• Drive through Cockpit Country lush, green, some parts still untouched and some of 'Ole Jamaica' can still be seen
• and for the foodies if you eat meat you gotta try some Boston Jerk (pork, sausage, chicken) sure to make your taste buds explode (:
  
  
  2) You are offered an all expenses paid holiday to visit any 5 locations in the world. Where do you go and why?
  
• I would go to Ghana, most of the slaves that came to Jamaica I believe came from that part of Africa it would be nice to see the home of my ancestors and maybe find out more about some of the practices we inherited here in Jamaica e.g. food and language to name two.
• Scotland my research tells me that my paternal Great Grandad came from Scotland so again in the interest of tracing roots this would be one of the places additionally the pics I have seen of the place are great.
• Rome I am Roman Catholic and I love my faith to make a pigimage there has become a dream of mine.
• Now for the whimsical trips just because they would be free and to fulfill a dream Japan ever since I saw the pics from the last winter games held there I have been in love (:
• Australia yeh baby this trip would just be outa curiosity but the way I love to fly hmm I dunno

3) Which film is guaranteed to bring tears to your eyes, no matter how many times you watch it?

• This one hands down Fried Green Tomatoes and believe I have tried I cry everytime!!!!

4) What are your top 5, all time favourite songs and why?

• Together Forever Rick Astley came out back when I was in high school and whenever I hear it brings back such fond memories
• A Wonderful World Louis Armstrong this song epitomises how I feel about my life in this world
• Chiqutita-ABBA my Dad would play this every Sunday (:
• Father Bless this Offering- an offetory song we use at church and we sang it all the time at Easter when we went to church with my paternal Grandparents out side by the Easter fire!!!!
• Reasons-Earth, Wind and Fire-for sentimental 'REASONS'

5) Which would you choose, Bun and Cheese or Bulla Cake? Why?

• This definately depends on what I am in the mood for but I do love me some spice bun and cheese, they come individually wrapped and are plain no currants,raisin and or fruit peel with some just opened Tastee Cheese the big cheese I am good to Go (:

Venus is Women's Wimbledon Champ for the 4th time, history was made today. I am elated this is what perseverance, patience, belief in yourself and support can do. So I just wanted to send her some love Go Venus!!! you brought tears to my eyes, THANK YOU for being such an inspiration!!!

'The lost lock'

Wow so much has happened in the last few days there was the first anniversary of my brother’s death (IPO in our hearts forever), so we did some special things on the weekend. I decided I had had enough of the bleached/ blonde look so I covered my ends mahogany did not give the exact look I was going for but I am happy with the results (: I am looking forward to finishing school and I have so many thoughts and ideas running around in my head about things I want to do to for the next phase of my life. Oh and I lost a lock I was a lot calmer than I thought I would have been what I did realize though is my hair is locked up and this is one of the thinner sections of my hair so it’s all good. Whoo hoo I got the go ahead to stop braiding and banding but I have to monitor so I don’t have a repeat of the last time I tried that stunt. I wanted to do a hot oil treatment but my consultant told me no and said I should use the sister lock moisture treatment if I want something extra (: well I guess the next time I wash my hair that is what I will do. I have an exam in just over a week and this is what stands between me and my degree and then I am going to get some vacation time its been a while since I have felt like I need a vacation but I really need to get/have some vacation time (: Oooooo before I forget I washed my hair right before I went for my retightening and it helped with the tension so I am going to maybe make that my practice to wash before I go for retightenings and a quick question, I should have some control over the tension exerted on my hair yeh dat sounds like a plan. Yes I know I have taken a while to reply to my tag so here are my responses and lemme see I gotta tag some people nuh true, yeh I am gonna tag leighann again ps she still is to reply to my original tagging (:
